How can i convince my parents to let me paintball?
I have played many times but my dad doesnt like “guns” but a paintball marker isnt a gun. It cant hurt me because i’d wear protection such as goggles and pads.
You have to think like a parent. Show them that paintball can value what they value. It is proven that paintball is safer than most sports like football and other contact sports, but you need to find other reasons.
Social aspect – Paintball isn’t just about dinking around and shooting people. If you have been around it long enough like I have, you get to know people, build relationship. This is important for friendships.
Physical – Paintball is a great way to stay in shape and have fun doing it.
Strategy – Being a team player is important for future jobs, getting along with other and many other aspects. Just like plays and communication needs for sports like basketball and other coordinated games, you need to work with teammates, develop a plan that works and make sure you succeed.
There are many more reasons, but don’t just push the safety item. It won’t be enough.
